The Family Office
A private family office established in 2024.
Mitchell and Samantha Anderson — husband and wife, entrepreneurs, and the founding principals of the institution — began their work as impact investors in 2020. The Anderson Family Office was formally constituted in 2024 to bring that activity, and the broader capital and affairs of the family, under a single institutional structure designed from the outset for the long term.
The office is privately held and independently governed. Its work spans investment, stewardship, and philanthropy — each managed through a distinct governance structure, each held to the same standard of care.
The office holds capital on a permanent basis, on behalf of the Anderson family and in consideration of future generations.

Anderson Family Office
Capital is held in trust — on behalf of the family, and in consideration of those who will follow.
The office conducts its affairs quietly, without public commentary on its work or its decisions.
Governance structures, investment frameworks, and institutional habits are built to outlast any individual involved in them.
Every relationship and every commitment reflects a single, consistent standard.
The office forms its views independently and acts on them accordingly.
Capital of any scale carries obligations — to families, to communities, and to those who are not yet here.
Investment activity, operational oversight, and philanthropic engagement are each governed through distinct structures. An Investment Committee reviews all material capital decisions. The Anderson Family Foundation operates under its own mandate and committee. Each function is held to the same standard of care; none is subordinate to the others.
Responsible for all capital allocation decisions. Operates on a consensus basis with defined investment criteria and a formal review cycle.
An independent function ensuring that investment activity remains consistent with the risk framework, liquidity requirements, and governance standards of the office.
Directs all charitable activity through the Anderson Family Foundation, applying the same rigour to philanthropic investment as the Investment Committee applies to financial capital.
